(ETFs) LES

Lorsqu'on parle de ETFs, on se réfère à l'acronyme de 'Exchange Traded Funds'. En Europe, on les appelera parfois 'Trackers'. En fait, ils sont des fonds indiciels cotés en bourse. Parfois, ces fonds sont constitués d'un panier de titres pour un secteur donné, parfois aussi il réplique un indice boursiers, une devise, etc...

Le premier ETF fut créé en 1993 permettant ainsi de négocier l'indice du S&P 500 (SPDR, prononcé "Spider" - symbole: SPY). Se négociant comme une action, aujourd'hui il existe des centaines de fonds différents. Ces fonds permettent maintenant de négocier des devises, des futures, des indices, des obligations, des indices, etc...

L'argument le plus souvent utilisé pour faire la promotion de ces fonds, c'est en le présentant comme un formidable outil de répartition des risques. Cela est vrai mais pasr entièrement ! À la bourse, le risque est toujours omniprésent et ne pas en tenir compte est la façon la plus dispendieuse de l'apprendre. Il vaut la peine de toujours faire ses diligentes recherches...
